Need information on George W. Williams b. ca 1800 TN. He married Rebecca BLEVINS and resided in Carter co. KY in 1850, and Lewis co. KY in 1860. Rebecca died in 1858 Carter co. KY. Did George come to Jefferson co. with his daughter Lavisa JOHNSON? At least two of George's daughters came to KS before 1870. Children of George included America WILLIAMS b. ca 1830 who mar. Wm.WAUGH; Sarah WILLIAMS b. ca 1832; Laura Lavisa WILLIAMS b. 1835 who married Wm.R. JOHNSON and died in Jefferson co. KS; Catharine WILLIAMS b. ca 1836; Wm. WILLIAMS b. ca 1836; Hester WILLIAMS b. 1837 who married Thomas FULTZ and died in Douglas co. KS in 1872; Jesse WILLIAMS b. ca 1838; Elendor WILLIAMS b. ca 1839; Emily WILLIAMS b. ca 1843; Henry C. WILLIAMS b. ca 1847; Rebecca J. WILLIAMS b. ca 1848 and George W. WILLIAMS jr. b. ca 1849. If any one has access to the 1870 Jefferson co. census, I would appreciate a look-up. Thanks in advance.
