Hi, I am a great great granddaughter of Francis Gurney Springer, b. March 15, 1839 in Cape May New Jersey. He is buried in Independence, KS. His son, Francis jr is my Great-Grandfather. I believe Francis jr had several siblings, maybe 3 sisters and the child of one of these sisters was living in Colby at one time.

I have a copy of an undated letter that is on file in the Cape May Historical Society in New Jersey that was sent from Colby KS, written by Mrs. Herold O. Goellert. If anyone knows of this family, please e-mail me. Thnx, melissa
