I am seeking any info on the family of James Reckard and his wife Mary Jane. I have many maiden names for Mary Jane (Asby on her death record, Mollain, Malen on her daugthers death record, Melen, and Mallen and on her marriage license, is Maly or Moly) Family folklore each sites something different. They had 4 children: Caroline, Frank, Lillie Lee, and Clyde. All lived in Doniphan Co KS near Blair Wathena area and ST Joseph Mo Buchanan County. Caroline married Albert "Bert" King and later Albert "Bert" Shay. Frank married Minnie Belle. Lillie Lee (my g grandmother) married Alexander "sandy" McCallan, and Clyde married Bessie winifred Cox and also a german woman named Susie maiden name possibly(Carney?) Jim Reckard was from England. Mary Jane was born in Troy KS. according to Family folklore and her death record. After she was widowed, she later married Richard Nathan. Willis. They lived in St Joseph Mo many different times. Alexander Sandy McCallan's father was a prominent blacksmith in Doniphan Co Burr Oak Township, and his name was James "Jim" McCallan, and his father was James Wemys Macallan who came from Scotland to Doniphan Co and is buried on the Liechti farm. Once here the name changed to McCallan. I need help with these families.
