Am seeking parents of my gg grandfather, William Cummings (1812-1900), born in Maryland. His father was born in Scotland and his mother born in Pennsylvania. He moved to Kansas in 1855, married Sarah Ann Quiett in 1856 and founded the town of Cummings in 1872. William had a brother, Samuel. Sarah had two brothers, Clark and John and a sister Mary. William and Sarah had six children: Britamore (my great grandmother), Martha, Mary, Charles, Isabella and William (Willie). Any assistance would be welcome and appreciated.
