I am seeking information particularly on the Forward and Norris families. My grandmother Eleanor May Forward was born in Maize Kansas in 1883. She was one of 8 children surviving to adulthood. She married Charles Norris around 1900 and they had three daughters, Estella, Grace and Mable(my mother). For a while Charlie was the Postman in Maize. After they divorced around 1912 he had another daughter who I think was named Maxine and she married a Ramsey. I would like to find other relatives and compare stories I heard from my grandmother about living on the prairie in a sod house etc. and share some old photos. I have a half brother named Elkins and I think his father had relatives in Kansas also. My aunt Stella married Melvin Chaney and I think he also had relatives in Sedgewick county. My Aunt Grace passed away in 2004 at the age of 93. She did some genealogy work before computers and in her last years of life she often wondered what happened to her half sister.
