Hello,
John & Nancy (King) (Tolliver) Ladlie lived on a farm near Mound Valley, Labette Co, KS. On the 1870 census my g grandparents, Hezekiah (Henry, on the census) and Edith (King) BROWN are living close by. Nancy (King) & Edith (King) are sisters.

Edith BROWN died 1 May 1870 along with her one month old son, Robert BROWN, there. Where are they buried? Where is John & Nancy Ladlie buried? I have found the Ladlie son & wife buried in the Altamont, KS, cemetery.

I found a book in the Tulsa Library listing Edith BROWN as a GAR Auxiliary Volunteer buried in a GAR cemetery. I have written all over the USA trying to find the GAR cemetery, but no luck. Is there a GAR cemetery around Mound Valley, KS?

Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you. I look forward to a response.
