I am looking for info on Dr. Simeon Phillips b. 1850 d.
1886. His second wife was Cynthia Ruth Cornwall, daughter
of Isaac B. and Mary Catherine (Ward) Cornwall. She was
born 11/6/1854 and d. 2/6/1878. They are buried in the New
Busby Cemetery in Copan, OK. I was in Salt Lake recently
and read a bio on Dr. Phillips but did not copy it as they
had his name as Simon and his parents as Simon and Lavina
Phillip, which I believe to be in error. Another short bio
on Simeon from a Phillips source says that Simeon owned a
ranch of 1000 acres and "had a wide reputation as a
physician and surgeon. People came from a distance of 100
miles to his office." He daughter, Myrtle Phillips married
a Mr. Harris and they made there home in Caney, KS. Any
