I'm researtching my gggrandparents. William J. Mayfield and Mary Nations [ist] died in Walnut twn, 1856 ans Sarah A. Mayfield- the Mayfields ans welll as there son George and Anna Mayfield have been found in the 1989 Censes. I need obits for any one that can be found. W.J. was one of the early settlers of Kansas, and served in the Civil war, Gen. Price and the MO. expo....he is said to have died there and owned over 360 achers of land.
