I am looking for land records for an Alexander C Benson, aprox 1875-1880. He would have been 33 years old.
In the 1880 Census, Alexander C. Benson and his wife Lucy were living in Valley, Rice, Kansas. He was a farmer.
I would like to see if there are records of a land purchase, and also if he sold the land, aprox 1890-1900. In the 1900 census Alexander Benson was living back in
Illinois by himself, where they moved from in 1875 aprox. Lucy probably died in Kansas.
In doing a search on the internet, I found this information, but it doesnt make any sense to me!
