Could some good hearted person do a look up for me-seeking info on James my gfather m to Jesse Wike-found inquiries on boards he was in the Topeka area early 1900-found him & spouse in 1900 census living in Concordia-father put the younger children in an orphanage-my father was about 6 or 7-mother died-inquiries mentioned he was living with Clarence,a son with his wife-did he marry again-what happened to first wife-Also there was some indication James Simon listed on the plains indian role-could this be factual or rumers-planning a trip to Ks in Sept-could someone help me plan to check with courthouse in Topeka but if I could have some help with me would really appreciate- email "gmc@plateautel.net" It was also indicated there was a land grant issued in 1960-could this be true
