I just found this website and I am on the verge of tears.
I am looking for family in Caney, Kansas, Montgomery county.

My mother was born Anna May Kreigh. Her father died when she was 8 years old. She had 5 younger siblings that were all adopted out to different families. I know my grandmother's first name was Gracie. I know I have an Aunt with the first name Doris, and an Uncle by the first name Joey. My Aunt is a school teacher.
My grandmother Gracie was sent to the insane asylum after her husband died. My mom told me she cried and cried and the townspeople decided to commit her and take the children to the orphanage.

My mom ended up in Venus, California, in Santa Monica County. My mom traveled to Caney once when I was a child. I met my Aunt once. If I remember right she tracked down all her siblings.
