This is what I find on him: He is buried in Garnett Cemetery. B. in OH
Sept 15 1842, the son of David and Christina Andrew [sic]; m. Elizabeth
Chase 3 Aug 1877 at Glenloch, KS; served in Co K 116th OH Infantry; d. 25
Feb 1928; bur 26 Feb 1926 [the 1926 date is correct; see below]; survived
by Frank, Charles, Belle Harsh & Effie Monroe.

A brief notice of his death appeared in the Feb 25 1926 Garnettt paper:
"Hiram Andrew [sic] died Feb 24 at his home on N. Oak, Garnett. He had
been in poor health several years. He as [sic] veteran of Civil War and
retired a good many years." [this is extracted; there may be much more

His obit appeared in the Mar 4 1926 Garnett paper: "Hiram Andrews died Feb
25 at his home on N. Oak St. He had been in poor health the past few
years. Funeral Friday, by Rev. Crippin and Rev. White. He was born Sept
15, 1842, in Ohio, the son of David and Christina Andrew. He married
Elizabeth Chase, Aug 3 1887, at Glenloch. He enlisted in Civil War in
Co. K, 116th Ohio Inf., and during the war received a wound in one arm,
from which he never fully recovered. Survived by wife, two sons and two
daughters, Frank, Charles, Belle Harsh, and Effie Monroe". [also extracted

Mills, PA; d. 8 Jan 1930; m. (1) Hiram Chase (d. in Portland, ME); m. (2)
Hiram Andrews; buried 10 Jan 1930.
