I have been searching for years for the burial of my g,g, grandmother. Catherine Polite Farris (Faris,Ferris)
She was married to Gilbert Harmon Farris.
All written accounts state that Catherine died Dec. 21, 1887 near Buffalo Kansas. I have never found a burial for her or an obituary.
In 1887 Mr. Farris had an address in Fredonia Kansas c/o an attorney Charles Sweeney.
Then in 1888 Mr Farris was living in Buffalo Kansas.

I would greatly appreciate any help I can get to find where Catherine is buried. I have emailed the library and they have no obits for that time in the newspapers. And I can't seem to find burial listings for the cemeteries in the area that have been any help.
