Looking for any info on the family of George W. Gear, born 1839 in Massachusetts, died July 1912, buried in Montana Cemetery near Montana, Labette, Kansas.

George's first wife was Amanda, born about 1840 in Illinois. George and Amanda had the following children: William (b 1862 in IL), George W. (b b 1864 in IL, died 1882 in Labette Co, KS), Elizabeth (b 1869 in IL), A. (female, b 1873 in KS), Josephine (b 1877 in KS, married Nicholas Walker Jones), and Mattie (b in KS, married Harris Wright).

George's second wife was Elizabeth Parlett (b 1853, d 1888 in a buggy accident, buried in Montana Cemetery near Montana, Labette, Kansas). George and Elizabeth had one son, Benjamin Harrison Gear (b 1887, d 1932, married Inez Shiell, who was from Sherman, Cherokee County, Kansas.
