I am researching the Johnson family that came to Kansas in the Mennonite Migration. I believe that the spelling of the name was changed from perhaps Janzen. My grandfather, William Johnson was an infant in Marion county when his mother died and his father remarried a widow with perhaps the last name of Wedel.
also researching the E.D. Hutchings family and the David knox and Elmer Crain families who all have Marion county ties.
