Am searching for the parents of William Cummings, founder
of Cummings, Kansas in 1872. I believe he (William) was
born in either Maryland or Pennsylvania on 10 Nov 1812 and
died on 27 Jul 1900. He and wife Sarah Ann (Quiett) are
buried in the Cummings Cemetery. They were married in
Center Township on 21 Sep 1856. I believe William's father
was born in Ohio and mother born in Tennessee. William had
a brother, Samuel. Sarah Ann had brothers Clark and John
and a sister Mary. Any information would be appreciated.
