Hi, I am looking for information on William Denton (born abt 1869, died around early 1960s) and any related family. I have been told he was a multimillionaire with a ranch of many thousands of acres in Howard, Elk county Kansas and involved in oil. I was told he was a "confirmed bachelor" so he may never have been married, though we found out recently that he was the real father of my grandfather Otho Lyle Amberg and his brother Teddy Amberg. We recently found out we have no real Amberg relation as it was the surname of who would technically be their stepfather Fred Amberg, who's home seems to have been right by the Denton home. Fred Amberg supposedly worked for William Denton.
