I am trying to find info on my father & his adopted parents,Fredrick Bell B/Gen retired USAF,Born(Fredrick Smiley) 2 Dec 1912,St. Joseph Mo. ,Died 15 Nov 1992,San Antonio,Tx. He was adopted sometime after 1916 by John R & Adelaide Bell of Troy ,Kansas. She, Adelaide, was said to be a teacher? My father graduated high school @ Troy in 1929 (we believe)? He entered West Point in 1932 and graduated there in 1936. He served in the Air Force until 1961.Anyone with any info would be most helpful.
