I don't know if I have talked to you before or not. Andrew Parent was married twice here is his information:

parents were Hiram Parent b 2 Apr 1828, Indiana
died 18 Jun 1886, Cherokee County, Kansas
buried in Crocker Cemetery, KS
wife was Elizabeth Tipton daughter of Andrew Tipton and Elizabeth Rodman
Elizabeth Tipton was born on 24 Jan 1828
she married Hiram Parent 1 Jul 1851 in Eugene Township, Vermillion County, Indiana.
she died 12 Feb 1900 (location unknown but probably Cherokee County, KS
Their children were William F, Elizabeth, Andrew Charles A, Nettie or Hattie and Martin.
Andrew was born Nov 1853 and died 1925, Henryetta, Oklahoma
He married Nannie J Shaver date unknown
also he married Mary Luella Brundage born 18 May 1868 in Schuyler County, Illinois died 13 Mar 1916 in Opolis, Crawford County, Kansas. She and Andrew were married 31 Dec 1903 in Girard, Kansas. Three children I believe belonged to Mary : Coy, Guy E. and Nola Fay. Then Nannie was mother of O.C. Collicia, Grace Leach and Adelbert. If you have any information on this family please let me know. I found that my families moved back and forward from Eugene to Kansas. Also, this Grace Leach Parent born May 1884 and married William Franklin Thompson. Interesting: her middle name is my grandmother Gillis' father's surname. I know that my grandmother lived for awhile in Kansas besides Illinois/Indiana and Missouri. Also my 2nd great-grandmother's brother Andrew Jackson Church lived in Cherokee County, Kansas. I think my 2nd great-grandparents may have lived and been married in Kansas. Their names were John Peter Gillis and Rebecca Church. The Cherokee County Genealogical Society found quite a bit of information of Andrew Church for me. I even discovered that my great-grandmother's nephew Jesse Bennett was a pallbearer at Andrew Church's funeral. Great Grandmother Leach who was a Bennett. Hope this helps and if you run across anything on the names I just mentioned let me know.
P.S. The Parents moved from Eugene to Parke County for a number of years. This was the same family of the Parents we are researching. Their is a graveyard in Tangier, IN where my grandparents had a farm (mother's side) called "The 16" which is all Parents, it is the family of Hiram Parent. I have yet to get over there and check out the names, it will be in the spring.
