My Great grandfather, Joseph Winters, was born Oct. 22, 1885. I believe that his parents, Irene (or Irena) Ferguson and John Armstrong Winters May have been in Cottonwood Falls at the time of the 1880 census. I do know they were married in KS, but am not sure of the date or if there were older sibs.
