I am hoping to learn something about William OSBORN, born about 1821 in Westmoreland Co., Greensburg, Pennyslvania and died 1898 in Bellingham, Washington.

My records show him to be living in Neosho County, Kansas from 1861 to 1883, during which time he was (already) married to Mary A. Lower (sometimes spelled Lowery) and had the following children:

Albert OSBORN b. 01/09/1863 in Neosho Co.
Oliver OSBORN b. 09/30/1864 in Neosho Co.
Alice OSBORN b. 09/14/1868 in Neosho Co.
Dora Bell OSBORN b. 09/12/1870 in Neosho Co.
Cora Corine and Nora OSBORN (twins) b. 03/22/1873 in Neosho Co.

Mary A. (Lower) Osborn is said to have died 06/22/1875, presumably in Neosho Co.

William OSBORN then married Nancy Ann SINCLAIR on 11/04/1880 and had one child in Neosho Co., Thayer, KS:

Maud (or Maude) OSBORN b. 01/06/1882

William OSBORN was said to have been born about 1821 in Pennsylvania. Before coming to Kansas, he was apparently married to an Elizabeth J. Harper (1847), and possibly another Harper (1851). He also spent some time in Joplin, Missouri before coming to Kansas. He moved from Kansas to Washington in 1883 and died on 04/28/1898, in Bellingham, Washington, where I have lived most of my life.
