My gggrandmother, Eliza (Elizabeth) Ann DYER, lived in Kingman County. After my gggrandfather, Samuel DYER, died in July of 1877, she married John GORHAM on 2/28/1886, but found out he was already married.

Eliza and Samuel's daughter, also Eliza Ann, married a man with the last name of BRANCH about 1889 or 1890. We think his first name was Shermond (Sherman, Sherwood?), but have never been able to find any record of him at all. He and Eliza had my grandmother, RHODA VIOLA BRANCH, on Oct. 30, 1890, in Kansas, but I don't know where. All of the DYERs, including Eliza Ann "Sr." and "Jr." and the younger Eliza's sibs, moved to Washington, except for one. But Shermond was never heard of (by us) again. Any information on him would be invaluable to us -- he has been our brick wall for 30 years!

I would also love to have any other information on where my gggrandfather, Samuel Dyer, died and is buried; where John Gorham ended up and where and exactly when Eliza Jr. and Shermond were married. Shermond, where are you??? Any help would be SO appreciated! Tom
