Hannah Austin Hoyt was the daughter of
Samuel and Ester ( James ) Austin. In
1850 the family was living in New York
City, NY. Two of Hannah's sisters were
living with them at the time. Along with
their sons:Martin Hanford, William Riley
and Henry Windfield. Walter's occupation
was lisred as " Peddler. "
