I am looking for the family of William Root, a harness maker, and his wife Elizabeth (Morrow) Root. They came to Netawaka Kansas in 1869 and are located on the 1875 to 1910 census records for but I can not find any death records for them. William Root was b. in about 1834 in Canada and he was listed in the 1930 census as 96 years old. Elizabeth (Morrow) Root was b. 17 Nov. 1836 in Canada and she was last listed on the census in 1910 but is not listed on the 1920 census. I am looking for a cemetery or a death notice for either one of these individuals. They had 7 children altogether, Sarah b. 1857, Benjamin b. 1858, James Harold, b. 1861,. Emma Georgia, b. 1863, William Ernest, b. 1865, all in Canada, and Eva L., b.1867 and Eva L. b. 1876. probably in the U. S. Would appreciate any assistance or suggestions on how to proceed.
