I am looking for information on my great grand parents, Daniel and Barbara Huff. They had three boys named William (Bill), Ernest, and Dick Huff in Burr Oak, Kansas from 1880 to 1887. I can't find their birth records anywhere. Also, Daniel died and Barbara remarried Frank Albert Oram who had a daughter named Mossie Belle Oram and they were living in Coffeyville in the 1900 census. They later moved to Washington, but Mossie Belle came back to Coffeyville with her new husband, Sampier. They were in the 1920 census.

Any info you have on this family, especially newspaper articles would be helpful.

I am mostly looking for the death of William Huff who died at age 21 in the Indian Territory of Oklahoma. Family stories have it that he was shot by a sherrif for stealing horses. I know there was a newspaper write up on it at the time with a photo of William (Bill) Huff in the casket. He was born in about 1880 in Kansas and died about 1900. I would love to find this newspaper article.

Thank you
