I am interested in finding ANY information available about Burr and Margaret LAYMON who resided and both died and are buried in Franklin County, KS. Burr died in 1931, Margaret I believe died in 1921. They were my great-great grandparents. Burr was born in 1830's, in Pennsylvania (?). Margaret's maiden name was MARTIN. One of their daughters, Susan LAYMON married Dennis McBETH, a son of William and Adaline McBETH. Dennis had 2 brothers that I know of..one's name was Perry, I don't remember the other's name. The McBETH family moved around some - they lived in S.E. Nebraska, at one time in/near Geneva, and settled in Fremont County, IA.
