I am looking for information on Henry O. Hodges. He is
my great grandfather on my father's mother's side. He
married Louisa Rabbits of Manchester, England in 1898.
My grandmother, Eunice was their second child, b.
1900(?); she had no birth certificate but is listed on
the 1900 U.S. census.

Henry O.'s father, according to family oral history, had
served in the U.S. forces, possibly the 11th Michigan
Vol. Infantry, during the American Civil War -- that is
if I have tracked down the correct Henry O. Hoges. His
father's name was also Henry O. Hodges, middle names
for both have not survived in family records.

Also -- family scandal: he reputedly divorced Louisa
and married her sister Maude or Margret. They are said
to have had three more children.

Any additional information will be greatly appreciated.
