BLIZZARD of Forest Grove on 11-12-1879 in Montgomery Co. also I am related to Auther E. COLE born 4-22-1887 in Kansas and have several CLOES buried in Cherrvale, Ks, Carl J. COLE b. 12-31-1908 and Bart F. COLE buried in Mount Hope Cem. in Independence. My branch went to Oklahoma during the land rush and settle just outside Okla. City. Thanks, Al Cole

Dec 8, 1839 in Campbell Co Tenn d. Dec. 3, 1914 in Neodesha, Wilson, KS They are buried at Grandview Cemetary next to each other. Does anyone have an address for this place? Their son Charles Marion HOUSLEY was b.July 10, 1876 in Pike Co. Indiana and died May 24, 1933 in Morehead, Neosho, KS He married Lelia May Peebles from Indiana.

ANDERSON, John W. and Sarah E. (SINCLAIR) lived in Wilson Co, Pleasant Valley Twsp. Ward PO. from 1867 (approx) to 1897 when they died there. I have probate naming children. (They moved there from Linn Co., KS) John W. and Sarah E were married in 1843 in Macoupin Co. IL. I am searching for parents, siblings of John W. ANDERSON. He was born in Indiana about 1823.

I am researching the Claiborne family in Wilson County. My great grandfather moved there in about 1885. He worked on the railroad and had a fairly large family. Most of the information, I already have but I am always looking for more. I am a Wilson County native, and I work in North Carolina and also have a home in Pennsylvania. There are other names of interest to me, such as CAIN, my great grandmother's family and LARGE who were also cousins of my family.

Married ?? in Danville, IL to Sarah Margaret LISTER, born Sept. 13, 1851 in Danville, IL and died Sept. 1927 in Neodesha, KS. (Sarah's father was John L. LISTER, called "Jack". He was killed in the battle of Chickamanga in GA sometime around 1867 during the Civil War) They had a daughter Estella Madge Juanita White born Apr. 3, 1882 in Warren Co., IL and died May 8, 1951 in Wilson Co., KS. Married Otis (Oat) ESTLE on Oct. 14, 1900. They had two children Ezekiel Otis Estle born July 5, 1922, died July 6, 1922 in Wilson Co., KS; and Susanna Irene Estle born Nov. 5, 1923 in Wilson Co., KS. Need all info available on this line. Wilson and Linn Counties, KS: I am looking for information on John W. Anderson who lived in Wilson County from about 1875 until his death in 1897. I need to know is place of burial and his parents names. John W. Married Sarah E. Sinclair in Macoupin County, IL and moved to Johnson Co. MO before moving first to Linn Co. then to Wilson Co. I have found a book showing plat maps in 1880 showing his farm near Ward Post Office in Pleasant Valley Township. I have some old pictures of relatives from Wilson Co. and would like to share info. Other family names are; Long, Messick, Sinclair, Armstrong, Whelchel and others. I also have come to a dead end for J.W.'s son Zackariah. I have a photo of him but no info.

They later moved to Buffalo in Wilson County, KS.

Wish to exchange information with others researching the Hoover and McMackin families in Wilson County KS. Manson McManus Hoover married Nettie Pearl McMackin 1893 in Wilson County. His parents were George W. Hoover and Viola Alvesta Crosby; her parents were William Thomas McMackin and Lucinda Jane Hainey. George and Viola Hoover moved to Oklahoma about 1910. Manson and Nettie Hoover homesteaded on the Cherokee Strip in Oklahoma.

I'm looking for any information on the LARGE family who moved to Fall River (Greenwood) county, around 1880. Many if not all of the family are buried at the Coyville, Kansas (Wilson County) cemetery. The wife, Mary Miller (?) Claiborne Large was my great great aunt. I have a little info on the family from census records and some anecdoctal information from family correspondence. The Claiborne family is fairly well researched by myself and by Lolita Bissell of Tennessee.

The license stated he was from Greenwood Co.KS. He stated he was from Wilson Co. KS He had previously lived in Wmson. Co. but had evidently moved to Kansas with his 1st wife. Did Ellen die in Greenwood Co.? Children were William born 1868, IL; John born 1871, TX; Effie L. Apr 1873 IL; Miles born 1875 IL; Leona born 1879 IL. Miles may be one I found in Soc. Security files born Apr 04 1875, died Aug 1963 probably in CA. When & where did Wyatt die? If you know anyone in this family I would like to hear from You.

When Wyatt married in 1888 the license stated he was from Greenwood Co. KS, but he stated he lived in Neodesoh Wilson Co. KS. I find a Miles in Soc. Security files born Apr 04 1875 died Aug 1963 probably in CA. Is this the son of Wyatt? Did 1st wife Ellen die in KS?? Where & when?? Family information says his father, Oty Taylor CLAIBORNE, living in or near Coyville, Wilson County, brought his body back for burial in Wilson County. Does anyone know if he is buried in Greenwood, Woodson or Wilson County? Thanks.
