Topic: Busby-1861
From: Diana Busby-Knight knight@roguewave.com
Date: Thursday, January 13, 2000 02:54 PM

I am in search of information to confirm my ggrandfather, Daniel Boone BUSBY, was born in Wilson County abt. June 1861. He is the son of Abram Cade BUSBY and Susannah LEACH.

He spent much of his childhood in Shelby Co., IL and later on to Tulare Co., CA where he wed my ggrandmother.

Birth records for his four children born in Tulare, Co., CA during the early 1890's indicate his birthplace as Fredonia, Wilson Co., KS.

He was divorced from my ggrandmother, Evelyn Kathleen CLOUGH and returned to Wilson Co., KS, where he wed Minnie RADCLIFF on October 11, 1899.

I have no information for Daniel after his return to Wilson CO. in 1899 and would appreciate any information on this family of BUSBY pertaining to his birth, life and death. Are there any of this BUSBY line buried in Wilson Co., KS?
