Yates Center News        November 27, 1925

Clawson--

Alvin Andrew Clawson was born September 14, 1853, in Fountain Co., Indiana, 
where he grew to manhood and departed this life November 21, 1925 age 72 
years, 2 months and 7 days.

He had made his home with his sister, Mrs. Delphene Wiggins of Yates Center 
since 1911.  He united with the Christian church about midlife in his native 
state, Indiana, where he remained a member until the end came.  His wife 
preceded in him in death in 1900.

He leaves his sister, Mrs Wiggins, three nieces, also grand neices and 
nephew, also acquaintances and friends.  The funeral services were held in 
the Christian church at 2 o'clock, Rev Banta the pastor, officiating.  
Interment in the city cemetary.
