She was married to James P Wiggins, August 30, 1866. To this union was born six daughters, Mary Alma, who died Sept. 21, 1888; Gerti J., of Yates Center, Ks; Katie of Verden, Okla.; Mattie of Houston, Tx.; Luzenia E., who dies November 12, 1912 and Georgeann E., who died April 28, 1916. Her brother Alfred, who made his home with her for several years died November, 1925. She is survived by 17 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and a host of friends. Funeral service were conducted by her minister Rev. John William Tyndall, Jr of the Christian church, of which she was a faithful and devoted member all her life. She was buried in the Yates Center cemetary.
