These records were transcribed and posted with permission from the "Anderson County, Kansas Bride and Groom Index, 1856-1995," published by the Anderson County Genealogical Society,
Garnett, KS, 1998. The index is arranged in two parts, an alphabetal list of
brides and an alphabetical list of grooms. The records cover the dates from 7
December 1856 to 6 November 1995; there are approximately 12,000 marriages in
the index. The records were transcribed exactly as they appear in the index,
which is itself a transcription from the original records.
