Fremont, a post-hamlet of McPherson county, is located in the northwestern part, on a branch line of the Missouri Pacific R. P. about 13 miles northwest of McPherson, the county seat. It had a population of 15 according to the census of 1910. The nearest important town is Lindsborg, about 7 miles east.
