Minneola, an incorporated city of Clark county, is located near the northwest corner, about 25 miles from Ashland, the county seat. It is a station on the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific R. R., has a bank, 2 grain elevators, a weekly newspaper (the Record), a money order postoffice, telegraph and express offices, telephone connections, several general stores, hardware and implement houses, a hotel, and in 1910 reported a population of 348.
