Rock, a village in Cowley county, is located in Rock Creek township on the Walnut river and the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe R. R., 15 miles north of Winfleld, the county seat. It has retail stores, churches, public schools, telegraph and express offices, and a money order postoffice with one rural route. The population in 1910 was 150.
