After some experience as a practical farmer he entered the medical department of the University of St. Louis and received his M. D. degree in 1905. The same year he practiced four months at Codell, Kansas, but, in the fall of 1905, came to Gaylord, where gratifying success has attended his efforts and labors as a physician and surgeon.
