Black man. Sentenced Oct. 26, 1907, from Leavenworth county, for assault with intent to kill; term, 1 to 10 years. Nativity, North Carolina; age, 34; weight, 164; height, 5 ft. 6 1/4 in.; build, stout; complexion, mulatto; hair, black; eyes, dark maroon. Occupation, hostler. Escaped Oct. 25, 1912. Served three terms here and one in West Virginia.

Marks and scars: Two small scars on back of left hand close to first finger. Cross-shape scar on back of left hand. Several black coal marks on back of left hand. Cut scar on first joint of third right finger, rear. Small scar 3 1/2 in. above right eyebrow. Scar on left upper lip. Scar, center, back of head.
