Elsie (Coppock) Willan Heinrich

Elsie Willan Heinrich, 94, died Saturday, March 18, 2006 at Rush County Memorial Hospital, LaCrosse.

She was born December 7, 1911 at Gate, Oklahoma, the daughter of Roy and Maude (McPherson) Coppock. A resident of LaCrosse since 1996, formerly of Great Bend, she was a retired Social Worker and Homemaker. She graduated from KU with a Masters Degree in Social Work in 1958. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Medicine Lodge, Mingonia HDU and Eastern Star. She married John Willan, and later married Dan Heinrich on December 9, 1963 at Las Vegas, Nevada. He died October 12, 2004.

Survivors include a daughter, Laura Johnson, Medicine Lodge; 2 brothers, Roy Jack Coppock, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and William Coppock, Yuma, Arizona; 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister Helen Coppock and a brother Roy Coppock.

Funeral service was on Wednesday, March 22, at United Methodist Church, Medicine Lodge, with Pastor Frank DeFisher presiding.

Burial was in Highland Cemetery, Medicine Lodge.
