Query: Desparately seeking information on my great-grandfather William T. Porter, born 1/5/1864 in Iowa - died 9/1/1932 in Bourbon County, Kansas. Found him on the Dawes rolls as Full blooded Cherokee although no one knew this until recently. Married to Martha Jane Proctor. Obit states his mother as angaline Hall and gives no father. Thanks. |

Query: Searching for info on Maurice and Lucinda (poss Licinda) Daubin. Fragments of family bible birth records indicate at least three daughters were born to Maurice and Lucinda circa 1854-1860. The small pieces indicate that one of the daughters was born in Fort Scott and one in Franklin. The third is listed as born in Fannin. I can find no notes of a Fannin, Ks. The daughter born in Fort Scott was my grandmother, Sara Orlean Daubin. She married Lon Rueben Wright in approx 1875 in Grayson County, Texas. Any information would be greatly appreciated..I can find no records of any Daubins at anytime in Kansas. |
