Looking for information on my grandparents and their families. John Henry McPeters (McPeeters) b. 01/19/1867; d. 05/29/1946, Wife; Ada Jane Ford b. 01/05/1869; d. 12/26/1962. (Her Parents were David Ford and Sarah Mann.) The McPeters lived on Broadway in Fort Scott, KS for over 50 years and later moved to Hill street. Both grandparents died in Fort Scott, Bourbon County, KS. Known children of this Marriage; Helen McPeters Lagerstrom, Charlotte McPeters Baldwin, John H.McPeters and my father, Chester A. McPeters(John Harrison Stanley) b. 1877 - d. 1943. Any information will be appreciated.

I am trying to confirm that the Simpson and Ann PORTWOOD listed in the 1860 Bourbon Co Census are the same folks listed in the 1850 Macon Co, IL census. Any help would be great!

I am interested in finding if they is a phone number for the old Cemetery near Mapleton & Xenia. I believe my wife's great-grandparents are buried there and I'd like some verification of dates.

Looking for information on Albert PORTER who married Etta MOSIER b. c. 1863. Her name could be "Nancy Etta". Etta MOSIER resided Bourbon County with her family . The PORTER couple moved to Washington State in the 1890s. Any information helpful.

Looking for information on one Peter V. SHELL. Born in PA in 1836. Lived for a time in Ft. Scott, KS. Could have been with other family - Jacob SHELL, or 1/2 brothers' sons, S or L BLACK, David BLACK, or William BLACK.

At least part of this family moved to Jasper and Barton Counties just over into the Missouri line. Any help would be greatly appreciated

LOOKING FOR ANY INFORMATION ON JAMES M. OR MARY AGNES MULHALL BOTH BURIED AT THE CATHOLIC CEMETARY OUTSIDE OF TOWN. HE WORKED ON THE RAILROAD AND SHE RAISED 5-6 ORPHAN CHILDREN. William Blackburn Puthuff was supposedly born in Fort Scott Feb. 22, 1869. Please help.

Looking for information on Absalom C. Attkisson, wife Martha Jane White, daughter Nanna Attkisson McKean. They were from Walnut, KS.

James T. West father of Daniel Stump West, Lush West and Silas West. Moved to Kansas from Danville, IL. Daniel West married Susan Jane Moyer and had 8 children.

I would appreciate any information on either Absalom Attkisson or James T. West.
