Topic: Death/Delila(?) FLY 1865-67 Bourbon KS????
From: LiRae Sullins wehyausdi@aol.com
Date: Wednesday, February 21, 2001 12:18 PM

Hello,
I am trying to find a death record for a Delila (?) FLY. The information I have says she was born 1841 in Indiana [parents unk], m. William Nicholas FLY 1857-58 in Kansas and died 1865-67 in (Bourbon Co.?)Kansas. It is believed he married Sarah Barnes in Bourbon Co., KS in about 1867. William and Sarah's first child was b. April 8, 1868 in Kansas. Delila and William had: Nancy Elizabeth b. Mar 9, 1858 KS; Louisa Jane b. Nov. 18, 1862 KS; and Wesley Richard b. Nov 15, 1864 KS. Did Delila possibly die in childbirth with Wesley or a 4th. child? We know nothing about Delila and cannot seem to run down any leads that connect to her. Maybe there might be an obituary/death notice for Delila FLY in a Bourbon Co. or Ft. Scott paper archive? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. LiRae
