Obituary of CHARLES ROY BOUCHER
Charles Roy Boucher, 68 of Halltown, passed away on Monday evening, April 29, 2002 at 9 p.m. in his home following an illness of one year.

Charles was born in Augusta, Kan., and graduated from Andover Kansas High School in 1951, and had attended college for two years. He was employed with Hoods Service Center as a supervisor for 25 years.

He was a volunteer for the Halltown Fire Dept. for over 25 years where he served as Sec. He was a member of the Mount Vernon Church of Christ. He was an Army veteran serving from Nov. 14, 1956 to November 13, 1958.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Milburn Boucher.

He is survived by his mother, Vina Boucher of Mount Vernon; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Loretta and Fred Taylor of Halltown, Mo., Rose Mary and Don Keener of Ringold, Okla., Sharell and Garth McGrew of Palm Springs, Calif., and Carol and Dick Hoffine of Lexena, Kan.; 11 nieces and nephews; several grand-nieces and nephews; and one great-grandniece.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2002 in Mount Vernon Church of Christ with Tim Lewis officiating.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2002 in Richland Cemetery, Douglass, Kan., under the direction of Wilson Brim-Daniel Funeral Home, Ash Grove, Mo.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today in the Ash Grove chapel where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m.
