Obituary of EARL HARVEY BOUCHER

Earl Harvey Boucher, 86, a resident of Altoona, Kansas, died Monday, September 3, 2007 at the Fredonia Regional Hospital Fredonia, Kansas. He was born April 29, 1921 in Butler County, Kansas, the son of Harley O. and Flora Theetge Boucher.  

On May 8, 1944 in El Dorado, Kansas, he married Armetha M. Lee. She preceded him in death on August 26, 2007. 

Earl and Armetha lived in New Albany, Kansas for 20 years, moved to Lamar, Missouri, where they resided for 30 years, and then to Altoona in 1996. Earl worked for Boeing until 1952 then he became a full time farmer. He was member of the Altoona First Christian Church.  

Survivors, include: One daughter, Barbara and husband Don Vaughn of Fredonia. Two sons, Wayne Boucher of Altoona, and Clint and wife Cara Boucher of Joplin, Missouri, One brother, Raymond Boucher of Augusta.  Eight Grandchildren and Twelve Great Grandchildren.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Jerry Boucher and Edward Boucher; and one granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at the Countryside Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Brodbeck of the First Christian Church in Fredonia officiating. Burial will be in the Altoona Cemetery. A memorial has been established in his name with the Fredonia Flag Fund and may be sent to the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Countryside Funeral Home, Fredonia, Kansas.
