Obituary of JACOB C. "JAKE" KNUPP

J.C. Knupp Services Will
Be Held Here Wednesday

A long time and highly respected resident of Augusta, Jacob C. ( Jake) Knupp, 88 died yesterday afternoon at his home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Dunsford chapel with Rev. Victor A. Major conducting the service. Interment will be in Elmwood cemetery.

Mr. Knupp was born in Yankee Bush, Pa., the son of Adam and Mary Knupp. He was wed to Nora Gibney December 24, 1885 in Warren, Pa. Her death occurred December 20, 1948.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. R.W. Johnson and Mrs. Harley Boucher of Augusta; two grandchildren, Ed Johnson of El Dorado and Mrs. Beulah Black of Augusta; and one great- grandson.

Mr. Knupp was well-known here as arig builder and contractor. He came to Butler county in 1916 from Oklahoma. He was a member of the Masonic lodge.
