Obituary of LEONA G. (APPLEGATE) PATTERSON
Patterson, Leona G. (Applegate), homemaker, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed into the presence of her Lord on April 9, 2004.

Visitation 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dunsford Funeral Home; service 2 p.m. Thursday, First Southern Baptist Church; interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Patterson was born April 15, 1916 in Christian County, MO to the late Lorenza and Myrtle (Parker) Applegate. She was raised in Augusta. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church of Wichita for many years, then transferred her love of Christ to First Southern Baptist Church of Augusta. Preceded in death by her husband, Ross W. Patterson; 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors: sons and their wives, Marion and Judy Patterson of Lancaster, CA, Albert and Linda Patterson of Anchorage, AK; sister, Effie Young of Springfield, MO; grandchildren, Jeri Anderson of Anchorage, AK, Randall Patterson of Sarasota, FL, Leah Wahl, Kendall Patterson, Lisa Patterson all of Wichita, Angela Patterson of Seattle, Rebecca Patterson, Pamela Webb both of Anchorage, AK, Donna Bloomfield; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Adam Patterson, Brian Wahl, Jennifer Wahl, Shelby Johnson, Prima Webb, John Webb, Amanda Winans, Christopher Winans, Glenna Bloomfield, Alex Bloomfield, Emy Bloomfield; many nieces and nephews.
