| Obituary of ORION F. ELLIOTT |
| Orion F. Elliott, 72, of Whitewater, died
Thursday, March 16, 2000. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 20, at the Assembly of God Church in Oswego with the Rev. Jack Blackwell officiating. Interment will follow at Oswego Cemetery in Oswego. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, March 18, at Bob Lamb Funeral Home in Whitewater. The family will greet friends on Sunday, March 19 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Senior Community Building at Oswego. On Monday, March 20, the casket will be open from 9 a.m. to service time at the church. He was born Aug. 21, 1927 at Oswego to George Richard and Verna (Smith) Elliott. He married Frieda Jones on Sept. 23, 1950 at the Assembly of God Church in Oswego She preceded him in death March 2, 2000. He had lived at Whitewater for eight months, coming from Mexico, Mo. where he had lived for 24 years. He was a lineman for the power and light company and was a Korean War veteran. He is survived by a son, Alan Elliott of Swedesboro, N.J.; two daughters, Karen Ball of Albuquerque, N.M. and Kathy Kalb of Whitewater; five sisters, Mary Campbell of Oswego, Eva Marshall of Columbus, Jane Garrett of Lubbock, Texas; Edna Smith of Emporia and Georgie Ann Stevenson of Edna and six grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers and a son, Steven. A memorial has been established for Wild Birds Unlimited. Contributions may be sent in care of the funeral home. |
