Obituary of CLARE E. PATTERSON
Clare E. Patterson, 84, of Augusta died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 1999.

His funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 11, at the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel in Augusta. Ed Gray of the Zion Community Bible Church will officiate.

Visitation will also be at the Dunsford. chapel from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10. Burial will be in Elmwood Cem..

He was born Dec. 18, 1914 in Augusta to Albert and Lilly Martha Patterson.

He was married Nov. 20, 1936 to Jessie B. Malcom in Wichita. She survives.

He was a Kansas Tri-State boxing champion from 1932 to 1942, a Kansas State 4-H leader and he was a retired Holstein Dairy Farmer and worked at Boeing and LearJet, and he was a member of Zion Community Church in rural Augusta.

He is survived by his wife, Jessie, sons Clare Jr., Dalton and Allen, all of Augusta, sister Lilly Jackson of Lakewood, Colo. and Lovey Boucher, Augusta, grandchildren, Tony, Cary, Robin, Cory and Todd Patterson, great-grandchildren, Candace, Kyle, Brant, Corney Patterson, Nattile and Brandy Biggert, Breeanna Rizzi, Kacy, A. J. and Ayden Patteison, and one great-great grandchild- Skyler Rizzi.

He was preceded in death his parents, brothers Loy, Ryle, Clive, Lee, Ross, and Fay and sisters Albertha Dagel and Connie Urban.

Memorials may be sent to the Zion Community Church.
