Obituary of WILLIAM D. "DON" MEEK
William D. "Don" Meek, 74, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of El Dorado, died Saturday, March 11, 2000 in Mesa.

He was born in El Dorado and had worked for 34 years at Pester Refinery. He had served two years in the Marines during World War II in the South Pacific. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He and his wife, Minnie, are winter residents of Mesa.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Diane Meek Ware, a son, William Donald Jr. (Don); four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established for the American Heart Association. Contributions may be made in care of Mesa Funeral Care at Mariposa Garden.
