Mr. and Mrs. Gerald L. Talkington, Cottonwood Falls, wish to announce the birth of their first great-grandson born to Anthony and Connie Talkington Dowse, Surpise, Ariz.

Tristan Anthony Dowse was born in Maricopa County Hospital, Phoenix, Ariz., on June 14, 2002. He weighed three pounds, 15 ounces and was 17 inches long.

His maternal grandparents are David and Deb Talkington, Grand Island. Neb., and great-grandparent, Joan Slough, Phoenix. Ariz. The paternal grandparents are Michael Dowse, Auburn, Neb., and Lora Whitted, Decatur, Texas.
