Filinger, Julia Layne

Brian and Penny Filinger and big sister Claudia, Council Grove, are proud to announce the arrival of Julia Layne, born Sept. 16, 2002, at Morris County Hospital of Council Grove. Julia weighed seven pounds and was 20 inches long.

Grandparents are the late Frank Filinger, Cuba, Kan. and Gary and Brenda Bruch, Strong City, Kathy Lauer, Americus and Steve Lauer, Emporia. Great-grandparents are John and Esther Parry, and Jim and Jean Lauer all of Westmoreland.
